Time To Grow Up

There comes a time in the life of a man when he needs to step up his game and procure a more formal watch. It's great to have a Nixon (some of their designs are terrific), a Tsovet or a Toy. But a formal watch can turn you from a man into a gentleman. I am NOT into the ostentatious, chunky watch look. Some can pull it off, but it's rare. Low profile is so much sexier.
The Cartier Tank Américaine is such a chic watch. Though Cartier does not have the horlogical history as some of the watches I gravitate to, it fits me so well. And fit is essential in choosing any item. The simple lines and shape are quite sensual in a masculine manner.

Patek Philippe creates masterful timepieces and has been doing so since 1839. The Calatrava is a classic design that conveys the values which are synonymous with the company. The subtle white face covers the complicated movement within. This Golden Ellipse is gorgeous in platinum.

Since 1775, Breguet has been making their signature pieces. The Classique and Classique Complication are gorgeous pieces in understated luxury.
